Step 1
On site evaluation:
Eco-land Ltd and the land owner discuss and explore the
land use capabilities of the property and identify
sustainable land use possibilities.
Ecoland Ltd will write a short report recording the
possiblities identified and the ideas floated at this
meeting.
Step 2
Base site plan:
Ecoland Ltd will prepare a basic site plan after
gathering sketches, photographs and any other necessary
information.
This is the first building block in place towards a
"wise land use strategy.".
Step 3
Natural resource management plan:
Through discussion with property owners a "suitable
natural resource management plan" can be developed
for the following resources: water, soil, vegetation,
livestock and pests.
Step 4
Property function plan:
identifying possible natural surface water systems,
building sites, access roads, tracks & stock paths,
garden, fruit orchard, poultry, livestock, forestry and
wilderness zones.
Step 5
Facilitation process:
The landowner is facilitated to identify property areas
requiring changing or adjustment,then a unique
"eco-land wise land use plan" will be
formulated for the property
Step 6
A fully integrated Sustainable Management Plan:
After intensive planning and designing Ecoland Ltd will
produce a plan to develop the property into a sustainable
farming unit
covering aspects such as, earth works, access, water
systems, energy systems, gardens and orchards, poultry
and livestock requirements, fencing, buildings and
housing ( including building design if required),
forestry planting, wilderness restoration, day to day
farm management stratagies and the phasing in and
implementation of the plan,.
Step 7
Implementation:
Ecoland Ltd can assist the property owner carry out the
"eco-land wise land use plan" by offering
"hands on" project management, labour,
equipment and material gathering services. (more)
